Yuga Labs, developer of the popular NFTs project Bored Ape Yacht Club, has just announced it intends to launch the Otherside metaverse next April 30.
It is worth noting that over the past 24 hours, sales of non-fungible tokens from the BAYC and MAYC collections have registered an increase of 18% and 108%, respectively.
Yuga Labs announced the Otherside metaverse in March. Even though the developer has not disclosed the details of the project, some characters from the BAYC, MAYC, CryptoPunks and Meebits collections have appeared in the video released at that time. The company bought the rights to the latter two in the same month.

Yuga Labs' presentation has been leaked online shortly after the announcement. In this one, whose authenticity has not been confirmed or denied by the company, it focuses especially on MetaRPG, an RPG that combines NFTs from previously-released collections.
According to the presentation, the holders of non-fungible tokens will be able to use them as characters in the game. The team will also release an SDK that will allow content creators to design their own NFTs.
