Opera, a Norwegian multinational technology company, has launched its crypto-oriented browser on iOS devices. The company said in a blog post the browser has a built-in non-custodial crypto wallet that in addition to crypto — based on Ethereum, Celo or Polygon — also supports non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

Among its features, the browser also has cryptocurrency mining protection that blocks cryptojacking scripts potentially harmful to devices as they decrease performance. Besides iOS, Opera's crypto browser is also available on Windows, Android and maOS. The new browser allows users to access decentralized apps (dApps), games and metaverse platforms, Opera emphasized.
It is worth noting that Opera's crypto browser for other devices supports much more blockchain networks than the iOS version. As iHodl earlier reported, the browser's desktop version in addition to Ethereum also supports other networks such as Bitcoin, Solana, Polygon, Celo, Nervos Network, StarkEx, IXO and the Ronin sidechain.
