Main page News, Hacker Attack

The team of the popular crypto hardware wallet Trezor has recently reported that a personal data leak has occurred via the MailChimp platform, which the company uses to send marketing emails.

As reported by the company, the attackers have used user information in a phishing attack:

"MailChimp have confirmed that their service has been compromised by an insider targeting crypto companies. We have managed to take the phishing domain offline. We are trying to determine how many email addresses have been affected."

In particular, Trezor has stopped sending marketing emails until the situation is "resolved." The company has advised users not to open emails that appear to have been sent by the company.
