Chiliz, the operator of the fan token platform Socios, has just announced the launch of the Chiliz Chain 2.0 (CC2) test network.
As reported by the project developers, the network, which is EVM-compatible, has been built in collaboration with the Ankr project.

According to the press release shared by the company, the CC2 will significantly reduce the cost of transactions and increase their speed, and will enable developers to issue NFTs and fan tokens, create DeFi products and P2E games. According to the announcement:
"Developed in collaboration with Ankr, a leading provider of decentralized infrastructure, CC2 is EVM compatible with gas fees up to 200x cheaper than ETH. CC2 also offers high TPS, enabling developers to interact with smart contracts with speed and efficiency."
Following the launch of CC2 on the mainnet, the company's own CHZ token will be connected to this blockchain. Notably, the asset now circulates on the Ethereum and Binance Chain networks.
