Blockchain.com, a crypto wallet and exchange provider, has just completed a funding round that has resulted in the company's valuation reaching $14 billion, Bloomberg has reported.
According to the publication, the investment round has been led by Lightspeed Venture Partners. However, both Baillie Gifford and other investors have also taken part in it.

Exactly one year ago the company's valuation amounted to $5.2 billion.
According to the company's website, its services are used by 37 million users from 200 different countries. About a third of Bitcoin transactions go through 82 million wallets opened on the platform.
The company's CFO, Macrina Kgil, has not ruled out the possibility of the company going public next year.
