TIME, an American news magazine and news website, will now accept apecoin (APE) for digital subscriptions, the magazine said in a tweet post. Although it remains unclear how exactly TIME plans to support payments in APE, the 99-year-old magazine wants to start accepting the altcoin in the coming weeks.

The move comes after the team behind the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) collection launched a token for culture, gaming, and commerce as part of the BAYC ecosystem. The token is managed by a decentralized organization called ApeCoin DAO, where any owner of the token can become a member.
