Chainalysis Announces Free API Tools to Comply with Sanctions

Chainalysis is launching two new services that are expected to help blockchain developers to comply with sanction policies. According to a blog announcement, the New York-based firm is planning to launch a special API this April that will check if an address of interest is on the sanctions list or not.

Chainalysis also plans to open access to on-chain oracle developed for smart contacts that will also check if an address is on a sanctions list. The latest solution is available on several networks, including Ethereum, Avalanche and BNB Chain (former Binance Smart Chain).

Chainalysis says the solutions will provide any cryptocurrency business, protocol, or organization a simple way to "quickly check if an address is on a sanctions list before allowing it to connect with their service."
