Bitcoin Miners' Revenue Falls 13% in February

Bitcoin miners earned 13% less in February than the previous month, while consolidated profit amounted to $1.06 billion.

The share of commissions in revenue reportedly amounted to just 1.24% or $12.9 million.

Notably, Bitcoin miner revenues have been falling for the fourth consecutive month after reaching the $1.72 billion mark back in October 2021. The figure then approached the March high of $1.74 billion.

Revenues from miners of Ethereum, the second largest crypto on the market, have registered a similar trend. Their revenues started to fall after November, then climbed to $3.6 billion and in February dropped to $1.8 billion, a drop of about 35% from the previous month.

While commissions are usually an important part of ETH miners' revenues, in February they fell to 66%, their lowest level since September 2021.
