Cryptocurrency platform Amber Group has just raised $200 million in a Series B+ funding round led by Singaporean investment holding company Temasek.
As a result of the investment round, the company's valuation has reached $3 billion.
Participants in the round also include Sequoia China, Pantera Capital, Tiger Global Management, True Arrow Partners and Coinbase Ventures.

Michael Wu, Amber Group's CEO, has said the funds raised "will help meet institutional demand in Europe and the United States." In addition, the company also intends to further develop the WhaleFin app and the OpenVerse division.
Amber Group, which was founded back in 2017, offers a wide range of products for institutional and retail investors, including market making services, trading services, investment tools and DeFi infrastructure.
Amber Group has more than $5 billion in assets under management and offers its services to more than 1,000 institutional clients worldwide.
