Bitcoin Miners Revenue Fell to $1.21B in January

The revenue of Bitcoin miners amounted to $1.21 billion in January, which represents a 15% drop compared to the previous month.

In addition, the share of commissions in Bitcoin miners' revenue fell to an all-time low: 1.15% or $13.9 million.

As for Ether, the second largest crypto on the market, during the first month of the year, its miners earned $2.62 billion, which is 7% less than in December. Commissions outpaced revenue from mined blocks: $1.33 billion versus $1.28 billion.

Notably, the Bitcoin hashrate recorded a 5.33% increase in January and mining difficulty increased by 9.77%. This indicates an increase in global mining capacity and a full recovery of indicators following the relocation of Chinese miners.

The mining pool with the highest hashrate during January was US Foundry at 16.5% followed by F2Pool at 15.3%.
