Hackers have stolen 165.2 million LMT tokens valued at $18.2 million from the hot wallets of NFT sports platform Lympo, a subsidiary of Animoca Brands.
According to project representatives, hackers have accessed 10 wallets.
LMT tokens have been temporarily withdrawn from several liquidity pools in order to minimize the impact of the hack on the exchange rate, however, the price of LMT has fallen by more than 90% over the past 24 hours.

The Lympo team has noted most of the reserves are held in cold wallets and have not been affected by the hack. The company has stated:
"The attack is still being investigated, but we assure all LMT token holders that we are working hard to resume normal operations as soon as possible. We are preparing a comprehensive plan on how the effects of this attack will be remediated and will share it with our community as soon as it’s available."
Hackers have allegedly exchanged most of the stolen tokens for Ether on the platforms Uniswap and SushiSwap.
