Cardano's Hoskinson Reveals Plans for 2022

Charles Hoskinson, the founder of the Cardano blockchain platform, hopes to get an end-to-end solution on the network. During his own Christmas Eve talk on YouTube, Hoskinson said he plans to get the solution in the second half of the next year.

"My goal for the second half of 2022 is to figure out how to put all the pieces together to get an end-to-end microfinance transaction on Cardano," he said.

While no details were given, he also revealed that the developer's community will introduce a structure that regulates the development of dApps on the network:

"A formal open-source project structure is going to be formed, kind of like Hyperledger to Linux," the Cardano head added.

Earlier this year, IOHK Cardano, a blockchain-engineering company behind the Cardano ecosystem, announced plans for network adjustments to support future growth. According to a blog post, the company plans to increase block size by 12.5% to adjust to the increased demands.
