Social network Parler, which enjoys great popularity among Donald Trump supporters, plans to expand its business through the use of non-fungible tokens (NFTs), Reuters has reported. At the moment it is unknown how the social network will support NFTs.

According to the company:

"Parler will continue building its digital offering with an NFT pipeline that builds communities and fosters creativity while furthering its commitment to free speech and security."

However, there has also been no information on when the integration of NFTs into the platform will take place. Media outlets have previously reported that Melania Trump has launched its own marketplace for NFTs on the Solana blockchain. Tokens based on the works of artist Marc-Antoine Coulon's "Vision of Melania" can be purchased until December 31 for $150 each. At the same time, it is reported the market itself operates on the basis of Parler. The terms of cooperation have not been disclosed.

Social network Parler was launched in 2018 as an alternative to Facebook and Twitter. The site quickly gained support from supporters of former US President Donald Trump, as well as supporters of the QAnon movement.
