Ex-Binance.US CEO, Brian Brooks, who is currently serving as Bitfury Group CEO, has been appointed to Voyager Digital's Board of Directors. According to a press release, Brooks will help propel the growth of digital assets and Voyager's business. Prior to Bitfury and Binance.US, Brooks was formerly the Acting Comptroller of the US Currency at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and, before that, worked as CLO at Coinbase.

In October, Voyager Digital (VYGVF), a publicly traded cryptocurrency broker, raised $75 million from Alameda Research to focus on broader crypto initiatives. After the news broke, the company's shares soared over 40%up to $14.6. The investment followed Voyager's recent acquisition of Coinify ApS, a crypto trading and payment firm, for approximately $84 million in stock and cash. The company said the deal accelerates its "international expansion and capabilities."
