Bitstamp Postpones SHIB Listing Over 'Technical Difficulties'

Cryptocurrency exchange Bitstamp is postponing the listing of the "meme" altcoin shiba inu (SHIB) to 2022. According to a tweet, the company decided to do so over "technical difficulties with the integration." The nature of the difficulties remains unclear.

On December 14, the altcoin started trading on the Spanish crypto exchange Bit2Me. A day earlier, SHIB and DOGE were listed on the Unocoin cryptocurrency exchange.

In November, the number of transactions with SHIB decreased by over 42%. The number of transactions with the altcoin in the past month exceeded 800,000, against 1.38 million in October. As of press time, SHIB is trading at $0.000034 (-0.54%), according to Nomics.
