A few hours after the attack, the Vulcan Forged team said that the affected wallets were actually 98, not 148. The team also added that half of the funds had been returned to affected users. Prior to this announcement, the spokesperson noted that the team contacted all exchanges to blacklist an address associated with the hacker. It has also been reported that the hacker could have verified his or her wallet on a centralized exchange.
