Bitmain plans to unveil the device in Dubai already this week and is already promoting it to its largest customers, the sources claim.
If the performance data is confirmed, the S19XP will become the highest performing Bitcoin mining hardware model on the market. Currently, Bitmain's leading miner is the S19 Pro, which is based on a 7 nm chip and produces 110 TH/s with a power consumption of 3.1 kWh. Therefore, the new miner will have 36% higher performance.
