Nifty's, a marketplace of non-fungible tokens (NFTs), has announced it will sell 100,000 unique avatars based on the Matrix universe in the form of NFTs. The platform said in a tweet the avatars are made in a cooperation with Warner Bros. and Epic Games' MetaHuman Creator. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the first phase of sales is scheduled for Nov. 30 with $50 for each NFT.

In the second phase, which is scheduled for Dec. 16, all buyers will be able to choose a "Blue Pill," which will keep their avatar in the Matrix, or a "Red Pill," which will transform the avatars into resistance fighters. It remains unclear though how the choice will impact the NFTs.
This is not the first NFT-related campaign for Warner Bros. Earlier this year, DC, a WarnerMedia Company, signed a partnership agreement with Palm NFT Studio to distribute its first collection of NFTs in the form of superheroes like Batman, Superman, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, and Harley Quinn.
