Digital Currency Group to Launch a Division for Cryptomillionaires

Barry Silbert's Digital Currency Group (DCG) is forming a team of financial advisors for its asset management division, The Block has reported citing sources.

According to them, the new line of business will be focused on "cryptocurrencies." DCG could hire more than 10 professionals.

The Block has also referred to the company's LinkedIn profile, where it can be seen the company is looking for a private wealth advisor to "work within Digital Currency Group's newest subsidiary." The source stated:

"The subsidiary remains in stealth mode, but will be working with the world's leading crypto blockchain and DeFi entrepreneurs and investors."

It has added the new division will be of interest to people who have made a fortune in cryptocurrencies, who are "interested in what to do with their money." The source has clarified:

"They will work with you around your finances, look at diversifying."

DCG is also looking for insurance consultants, product managers and other employees for the new division, according to the publication.
