Electric vehicle maker Tesla intends to accept Bitcoin again as a means of payment in the future.
As stated in the company's quarterly report, Tesla believes in the long-term prospects of digital assets:
"We believe in the long term potential of digital assets both as an investment and also as a liquid alternative to cash."

Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced in summer the company plans to accept Bitcoins again as a means of payment. However, before this happens he must ensure the percentage of use of renewable energy sources in mining the currency exceeds 50% and that there is a trend to increase this share.
Tesla stopped accepting Bitcoin payments in mid-May. Musk then criticized the crypto arguing its mining is unsustainable.
