Cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase has opened an early access to the so-called Coinbase NFT, a marketplace for non-fungible tokens (NFTs). The exchange said in an announcement that users could mint, purchase, showcase, and discover NFTs on the platform.

Coinbase Reveals Massive Hack Attack in Q2

Initially, the marketplace will support only NFTs based on ERC-721 and ERC-1155 standards with multi-chain support planned soon after. It remains unclear, however, when the exchange plans to expand support for blockchain standards. The move comes shortly after FTX US also launched its own NFT service — FTX NFTs. Unlike Coinbase, FTX US supports at start NFTs based on the Solana network.
