PepsiCo CFO Hugh Johnston has said in an interview with CNBC that Bitcoin is "still too volatile and speculative."

He said that PepsiCo is unlikely to invest in Bitcoins in the future. However, he has added that "you should never say never." Johnston has said:

"I think it will be a long time before Bitcoin becomes a functional currency for us."

Johnston has also shared his concerns about digital assets due to regulatory bias.
