BeePool is the fourth-largest ether mining pool in terms of hashrate, according to Mining Pool Stats. As of press time, the service generates a total of 63.22 TH/s and is inferior only to SparkPool, F2Pool and Ethermine.
The move comes shortly after Sparkpool also announced the closure of services on Sept. 30. Both of the pools are generating a total sum of 175.3 TH/s. The announcement follows China's additional pressure on all cryptocurrency-related firms, including mining providers and exchange platforms.
