Crypto analytics services CoinGecko and CoinMarketCap are no longer available to residents of China, The Block has reported.

The publication's analysts have concluded using the Greatfire.org tool that China's Great Firewall has blocked access to these popular services. It is not known when the blocking came into effect.

The information has been confirmed by 8BTC.

CoinGecko representatives have reported they have not taken any measures on their side to restrict Chinese residents' access to the service.
