Payments company PayPal has just announced its UK customers can now store and trade cryptocurrencies.
Starting today, UK residents can use PayPal's mobile app to trade Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum and Litecoin.

Notably, the UK is the first jurisdiction to which PayPal is expanding its cryptocurrency service, as until now only US users could store and trade cryptos.
PayPal announced in late August its intention to expand its crypto service to UK citizens. Later, the company reported UK users will also have access to educational content and will be able to track digital asset prices in real time.
PayPal increased in July the weekly limit for crypto purchases for some US customers from $20,000 to $100,000.
