A hacker has stolen 864.8 ETH (about $3.09 million) from an auction of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on SushiSwap's IDO platform MISO.
SushiSwap CTO Joseph Delong has said an anonymous user named AristoK3 on GitHub injected malicious code into the MISO interface and changed the address of the auction.
At around 19:00 UTC, the funds were sent to a wallet controlled by the hacker that Etherscan has now labeled as linked to the MISO attack.

According to DeLonge, the platform team has proof to believe the attacker is known on Twitter as 0x A.K. He describes himself as a web and blockchain dev.
According to Delong, if the funds are not returned by 14:00 CET on September 17, the project developers will contact the FBI.
He has said that only the Jay Pegs Auto Mart auction has been affected. The team has already announced that users will receive their 2007 series Kia Sedona NFTs purchased despite the theft of funds. The launch is scheduled for next September 21.
