Cryptocurrency exchange FTX.US has onboarded three-time NBA champion, Stephen Curry, as its global ambassador. According to a press release, Curry will receive an equity stake in FTX. His own foundation, Eat.Learn.Play., will also partner with FTX on "charitable initiatives," the exchange said.

"I am excited to partner with a company that demystifies the crypto space and eliminates the intimidation factor for first-time users," said Curry.
It remain unclear how much Curry will get for this role nor for how long the partnership will last. The partnership comes after FTX signed a multi-year deal with Kevin O'Leary. O'Leary will also be taking an equity stake in both FTX and West Realm Shires Services, an operator of FTX. He will also be paid in crypto to serve as an ambassador and spokesperson for FTX.
