The news outlet claims that users will learn about bitcoin with a tutorial that describes details on the Lightning Network and custodial and non-custodial crypto wallets. However, the details of the update remain unclear as the new feature is limited to the Twitter beta select number of testers.

The news appears after Jack Dorsey's fintech company Square shared plans to develop an open-source decentralized exchange for bitcoin. The new project is called TBD and its leader Mike Brock believes that the current centralized solutions like Coinbase and Cash App have a "number of issues."

What is more important is that Square is also planning to create its own hardware wallet and service for cryptocurrency custody. Jesse Dorogusker, the Hardware Lead at Square, said the company will focus on mobile wallet use and the concept of assisted-self-custody.
