Former US president Donald Trump has warned in an interview with Fox Business that investing in cryptocurrencies could lead to disaster. According to the billionaire, investing in cryptocurrencies hurts the US dollar.
The former president has also added digital assets may be "fake" because people know little about them. Trump has pointed out:
"Who knows what they are, but they certainly are something that people don’t know very much about."

The former president has added he has never been a supporter of cryptos because he likes the US dollar, which, according to Trump, should be invested in.
Trump planned to "wipe out" Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies when he was president of the United States. He addressed US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin in May 2018 with this order.
