Institutional client-focused crypto bank Anchorage has just announced it has hired former Wells Fargo executive Ken Chapman.

Chapman has worked on digital asset and blockchain-related initiatives in his previous position, so it's no surprise that he has made the jump to the sector with this hire.

Notably, he has worked for the Bank of America, BNY Mellon, investment firm Bridgewater Associates, JPMorgan and UBS.

At Anchorage, Chapman will hold the position of director of banking products and capital markets, which, according to him, will allow him to "address the overwhelming demand they’re receiving from banks for their services, including custody, trading and lending."

Anchorage received in January this year the first federal crypto bank license in the United States.
