1inch Deploys Aggregation Protocol on Optimistic Ethereum

The 1inch Network has announced it has deployed the aggregation protocol on the Optimistic Ethereum mainnet, a Layer 2 blockchain solution. According to an announcement, initially all transactions on the network will be limited to 0.6 transactions per second. However, in the foreseeable future transactions on the L2 solution are set to become faster, the 1inch Network team said.

"...the 1inch launch on Optimistic will facilitate a dramatic increase in transaction speed," said Sergej Kunz, Co-Founder of 1inch Network.

The protocol's users can already start migrating assets to the Optimistic network through the Optimism Gateway. The new solution is compatible with MetaMask, WalletConnect, Etherscan and The Graph. While deposits from the Ethereum network to the Optimistic mainnet will be instant, withdrawals from Optimistic to Ethereum will take up to 7 days, the project's team has warned.

Meanwhile, Kryptoin Investment Advisors filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) an application to launch an Ethereum ETF. According to the filing, the Kryptoin Ethereum ETF Trust will provide clients with access to an instrument "reflective of the actual Ethereum market." The Ethereum ETF will be priced based on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) CF Ether-Dollar US Settlement Price.
