Cryptocurrency exchange FTX has signed a multi-year deal with Kevin O'Leary. According to a press release, O'Leary will be taking an equity stake in both FTX and West Realm Shires Services, an operator of FTX. He will also be paid in crypto to serve as an ambassador and spokesperson for FTX.

"I want to increase my crypto exposure but also serve my compliance mandates," said O'Leary.
O'Leary's partnership with FTX comes after the exchange signed a 7-year contract with Riot Games, the creator of the popular League of Legends game. According to the company, the deal is Riot Games' largest sponsorship contract despite the fact the firm has not disclosed its amount. Starting August 7, FTX is placing its brand on segments related to the in-game gold currency.
