US tech giant Google has once again allowed crypto-related ads on its platform following the latest update to its policy, Cointelegraph has reported.
According to the new policy, which came into effect yesterday, advertisers offering crypto exchange and wallet services can again promote their products on Google.
The company banned all ads related to cryptocurrencies and ICOs in June 2018.

Now, while the new policy returns to allowing cryptocurrency-related ads, initial coin offerings or ICOs are still banned on the platform. In particular, the company will not allow ads for ICOs, DeFi trading protocols or the promotion of buying, selling or trading cryptocurrencies.
According to the new version of Google's policy, which was introduced in June, "advertisers offering cryptocurrency exchanges and wallets" targeting US consumers can advertise their products on Google as long as they meet certain requirements.
