Amazon is seeking a digital currency and blockchain product lead with at least 10+ years of experience in product or program management. According to the job posting, the successful candidate will become part of the Amazon Payments Acceptance & Experience team, focused on developing digital currency and blockchain strategy and product roadmap.

"You will leverage your domain expertise in Blockchain, Distributed Ledger, Central Bank Digital Currencies and Cryptocurrency to develop the case for the capabilities which should be developed, drive overall vision and product strategy, and gain leadership buy-in and investment for new capabilities," the job posting says.
However, this is not the first time the e-commerce giant is looking for a candidate from the blockchain space. Earlier in June, Amazon's cloud computing platform, Amazon Web Services, posted another vacancy seeking a blockchain product manager with experience in decentralized finance (DeFi).
The company was looking for a candidate who could help in developing scalable blockchain technologies for business, supply chain, financial services and identity use cases.
