Wyre, a fiat-to-crypto and payment infrastructure company, has entered into a partnership with the Polygon blockchain protocol to allows developers around the world to access the USDC stablecoin via Wyre's Checkout API.

Wyre says the conversion process taking less than 30 seconds. The stablecoin is also available with both Wyre’s Check and Card Processing API, says a press release shared with iHodl. Ioannis Giannaros, CEO of Wyre, says the comany's Checkout API enables developers to quickly provide fiat to USDC onramp for their users.

"We are really looking forward to working together with the Polygon team, as well as their developer ecosystem, to enhance their customer experience for everyone interacting with this ambitious protocol," Giannaros added.

Balancer Moves to Polygon to Reduce Gas Costs

In January this year, the Stellar Development Foundation invested $5 million in Wyre to integrate the company's APIs with the Stellar network, enabling Stellar USDC on/off ramps in USD, GBP, CAD, AUS, and EUR.

As part of the partnership, Wyre tied ecosystem apps with Stellar's USDC so that developers do not have to create integrations from scratch.
