Soros Fund Management, the investment fund of billionaire George Soros, has started trading Bitcoins, The Street has reported citing sources.
According to the publication, Dawn Fitzpatrick, chief investment officer of Soros Fund Management, has given permission to trade Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies.

The sources claim Fitzpatrick and her team have been studying cryptocurrencies for some time before starting to trade them. The Street has also reported on Fitzpatrick's ongoing negotiations to invest in large blockchain-based companies.
In March, Soros Fund Management's chief investment officer argued the cryptocurrency is at an "inflection point." This is forcing the fund to invest in digital infrastructure, Fitzpatrick said.
