Blockchain.com Adds Support for Crypto Domains

Blockchain.com, a cryptocurrency exchange and custodian, now allows users to send cryptocurrencies to Blockchain domains. According to a blog post, the new feature became possible as the company entered into a partnership with Unstoppable Domains, a blockchain domain name provider.

Users can now send cryptocurrencies not to a crypto address (i.e. bc1qw508d6qejxtdg4y5r3zarvary0c5xw7kv8f3t4), but to a user-friendly domain (i.e. brad.crypto).

Opera Adds Support for Unstoppable Domains and Web3

From now on, users can send cryptocurrencies to Unstoppable domains with .crypto and .zil extensions in addition to Ethereum Name Service (ENS) domains such as .eth, .xyz and .luxe. The new option follows Baillie Gifford's recent investment in Blockchain.com as the company raised $300 million in Series C funding.
