The Tesla CEO made this comment in a CoinTelegraph post that mentioned a possible market manipulation by Musk.
He has taken the opportunity to assure the company has only sold 10% of its investment in Bitcoin just to verify that Tesla could liquidate its Bitcoin holdings without affecting the market.
Last May 12, Musk announced the company had decided to stop accepting Bitcoin as a method of payment for its electric cars due to the environmental impact of mining the cryptocurrency.
Shortly thereafter, some criticized Musk arguing he had decided to suspend Bitcoin payments for fear of losing US government subsidies.
