The developers of the decentralized finance project DeFi100 have stolen $32 million from users, CoinDesk has reported.

Apparently, the DeFi100.org project's website displays a message saying that its users have been scammed and "can't do shit about it."

A cryptocurrency analyst whose Twitter account has more than 197,000 followers has reported on his profile that those responsible for the project, which had been developed on the Binance Smart Chain, have stolen $32 million.

It must be noted that those responsible for the project seem to be taunting users, since in addition to stealing users' funds, they have posted a message on the project's main page assuring users that they have been scammed and that there is nothing they can do about it.

Even though the page might have been hacked, the DeFi100 team has not made any statement on the matter, lending weight to the hypothesis that this is a scam.

The price of D100, DeFi100's native token, has lost 25% of its value over the past 24 hours to $0.08.
