Instagram, a social network owned by Facebook, may be working on the development of its own platform for non-fungible tokens.
Digital artist Sean Williams has tweeted that the social network has invited him and other artists to participate in a panel focused on NFTs, and to give their opinion on how the company could "build a better platform for creators."
However, the artist believes Instagram wants to take advantage of the opinions of NFTs artists to conduct market research on what its own non-fungible token platform should look like.

Notably, the panel is part of a three-day event called Creator Week, billed as an opportunity to help creators "build their community" and grow their business.
Williams claims Instagram has only offered him $1,000 for his participation, but he must sign a confidentiality agreement that prohibits him from disclosing information discussed during the panel.
