US-based cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase has just launched a Chrome extension for its wallet, the company has announced via a blog post.

From now on, the users of the platform will be able to access their wallets directly from Google's browser.

It must be noted that the extension, which has been dubbed Coinbase Wallet, is already available.

According to Sid Coelho-Prabhu, head of the Coinbase Wallet project, the extension will make life much easier for the large number of users who connect daily to applications such as Uniswap and Compound, as they will no longer have to scan a QR code with their smartphones every time they want to connect to their wallets.
