MicroStrategy has bought another $15 million of bitcoin (EXANTE: Bitcoin). According to a regulatory filing, the company purchased an additional 271 bitcoins for $15 million in cash at an average price of $55,387. As of May 13, the company hodls 91,850 BTCs (~$4.6 billion) that were bought at an average price of $24,403.

Meanwhile, bitcoin is down by 10%. As of press time, the cryptocurrency is trading at the $49,941 mark. iHodl earlier reported that the latest sell-off was likely triggered by Elon Musk's tweet in which the Tesla CEO said the company will no longer accept payments in bitcoin due to the impact the cryptocurrency has on the environment.
