MSI Launches NVIDIA GPUs for Mining Cryptocurrencies
Main page News, Mining

Computer hardware manufacturer MSI has just unveiled two graphics cards for crypto mining.

The CMP 30HX Miner and CMP 30HX Miner XS graphics cards use the same cooling system as their gaming counterparts. These consist of aluminum radiators, a copper heat-conducting tube and two TORX fans on double-row ball bearings.

It must be noted that both cards are based on the NVIDIA Turing TU116-100 card, which includes 1,408 CUDA cores. The base frequency of the GPU is 1,530 MHz, while in Boost mode it can reach 1,785 MHz.

These two new models released by MSI do not have external video interfaces, as they have been designed specifically for crypto mining and not for gaming. The same happened with the CMP 30HX models presented earlier by Palit, Gigabyte and ASUS.

The GPUs, whose price has not yet been released, can reach a 26 MH/s hashrate when mining Ethereum.
