The official app of US crypto exchange Coinbase has reached the top position in Apple's US App Store for the first time since 2017.
The app reportedly broke into the App Store's top 10 in mid-April and jumped to the second spot on April 14, where it has remained until now.

Notably, the app jumped to the second position on the same day the company went public on the NASDAQ.
However, it lost a few places soon after, also coinciding with the drop in the company's share price on the US market, only to rise again after it was known art auction house Sotheby's had teamed up with the company to accept Bitcoin and Ether as a means of payment for its physical artworks.
