Cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase now allows users to buy cryptocurrencies via PayPal. From now on, the exchange's users can buy cryptocurrencies via a linked PayPal account.

The exchange emphasized a user might need identical email addresses on both PayPal and Coinbase in order to buy crypto without a two-factor authentication. With PayPal, users can buy up to $25,000 a day. At first, the new payment method will be supported only in the US.

"In the coming months we will expand the ability to purchase crypto using funds from PayPal to more countries," the exchange added.

Coinbase opens new payment option after PayPal's Chief Executive, Dan Schulman, suggested that the world is going to see more change in the financial system in the next 10 years than it has over the past two decades. Schulman also emphasized that demand on the cryptocurrency side had been "multiple-fold" to what PayPal initially expected.
