In a press release, the company said that Distributed Global (in partnership with Temasek) and Austin Rief Ventures, Benson Oak, Samsung Next, Elron, Collider Ventures, FJ Labs, and others also participated in the funding round. While ZenGo processed over $100 million in cryptocurrency transactions over the past year, it surpassed this milestone in Q1, 2021 alone, the company emphasized.
In November last year, the Tel Aviv-based cryptocurrency company joined Visa’s Fintech Fast Track program, that allows the project to develop a co-branded innovative payment card. With the partnership, ZenGo's users can spend their cryptocurrencies online and offline with retailers with the help of Visa's credit card tied to a self-hosted, on-chain, multi-currency wallet.
