Payments app Cash App, which is developed by Square, a company owned by Jack Dorsey, has just increased the minimum amount of BTC its users can withdraw, according to the page that includes instructions for making withdrawals.

In particular, according to it, users "must have a balance of at least 0.001 Bitcoin to make a withdrawal."

Until now, users could make crypto withdrawals starting at 0.0001 BTC, or 10,000 satoshis. However, the minimum now stands at 0.001 BTC, or 100,000 satoshis.

Taking into account the current price of Bitcoin, this figure equates to around $50.

However, the company has not made any changes to the daily or weekly withdrawal limits - users can withdraw up to $2,000 in BTC every 24 hours and up to $5,000 in a seven-day period.

Apparently, the change in the minimum amount that users can withdraw could be caused by rising fees on the BTC network, which are approaching their all-time high.
