Chinese mining device maker Bitmain has just announced it is launching a new model for mining Ether.
The AntMiner E9 will support the Ethash algorithm. The price and specifications of this new device have not yet been shared by the company. In addition, it is also unknown when the product will be available for sale or whether the company will be able to make a large quantity of it due to the ongoing shortage of chips worldwide.

The most popular ASIC device for Ether mining at the moment is made by InnoSilicon. The A10 Pro can generate a 500-750 MH/s power, depending on the exact version. The simplest version currently sells for $11,000 in China. Journalist Colin Wu has said:
"Bitmain's AntMiner E9 can achieve a hashrate of around 1,500 MH/s."
