Crypto tracking resource Whale Alert has reported several crypto exchanges, including Coinbase and Huobi, have moved a large amount of XRP tokens over the past day.
In particular, Coinbase, Huobi, Bittrex, Binance and Kraken, as well as other smaller platforms, have moved 131.2 million XRP tokens or $215.6M coinciding with a more than 20% spike in the price of the crypto.
Notably, the largest movement of tokens was made by US platform Coinbase, which transferred 62 million XRP tokens.

Interestingly, some of these platforms - Coinbase, Bittrex and Binance US - suspended XRP trading in January after the SEC filed charges against the company and several of its executives for allegedly conducting an illegal sale of securities.
However, it looks like the latest news around the process is being positive, which has boosted the price of the cryptocurrency.
Thus, its price is currently sitting at $1.68 and it is the crypto with the highest growth in the top 10 over the last 24 hours.
