Christie's, a famous British auction house, has announced a new offer of nine non-fungible tokens (NFT) from CryptoPunks in a single lot. According to an announcement, the NFTs will be sold in Christie’s 21st Century Evening Sale on 13 May in New York.

While opening bids remain unknown, Christie's already emphasized one of the NFTs for sale is a special as it was created in the early days of the CryptoPunks development.
"The CryptoPunks are the alpha and omega of the CyptoArt movement," said Noah Davis, specialist in Post-War & Contemporary Art at Christie’s.
This is not the first NFT-focused auction for Christie's. In March, the British auction house sold an NFT-collage by artist Mike Winkelmann, aka Beeple, for a total of $69,346,250, which made the creator one of the most expensive living artists to date. Beeple had been working on his unique work of art since May 1, 2007.
